How to Fix Bluetooth Pairing Issues

Connecting to Bluetooth devices can be a bit finicky at times. Here are some helpful tips:

  1. Before you start, ensure your sensor is active and ready to connect to your computer. Some sensors (especially battery-driven ones) may only be discoverable if the sensor detects user activity.

  2. Make sure your sensor has not automatically disconnected. Sometimes Bluetooth devices shut down to save power if there is prolonged inactivity. Connect your devices when you are ready to use them.

  3. Make sure the sensor is not already paired to another device. If your device fails to pair, try turning off active head units and putting nearby mobile phones in airplane mode while getting things set up.

  4. Make sure your sensor's firmware is updated. Most vendors have companion apps you can use to run firmware updates. Vendor apps are also a great way to check if your device works as expected.

Nothing Worked, What Now?

We try our best to support most Smart Trainers and update the software regularly to improve compatibility. If your device does not appear in the Bluetooth dialog box or measures faulty data (wrong speed, power...), please contact the support team on Discord or email.
